I live on Lake Greenwood in Cross Hill SC and love it! It's a little bit of a drive to Greenwood the largest of nearby towns but the quiet lifestyle, the friendly small town people makes it all worthwhile. One of the most popular past times is RV camping. I am partial to Moon Landing RV Park & Marina on Lake Greenwood. They are the friendliest people you'll ever meet and their RV Park is a favorite place for RV campers. Camping has become more popular and a lot of people are choosing to live full time in their campers, RV's and Motor Homes. The mild climate in South Carolina is ideal for that lifestyle.

   All four seasons for variety, but no extreme temperatures. Just when you're tired of one season there is another one to enjoy. The occasional snow is a treat rather than a dreaded event.

 

 

 I grew up in Greenwood and left as a young adult and moved to Florida. Necessity brought me back home but having been away for so many years made me appreciate the things I didn't like when I was growing up.

 

It's a quiet lifestyle, not a lot of excitement but sometimes excitement brings some not so desireable side effects. We are growing and lots of people from different areas are moving in or buying vacation property here so as this happens changes are bound to come!
