" Fivers", "Fifth Wheels" and "Fifth Wheel Trailers" are all terms that refer to a single style of travel trailer. The term comes from the style and method of hitching the trailer to the tow vehicle. The hitch is mounted in a truck bed almost directly over the truck's rear axle. This adds a great deal of stability and towability to the trailer.
