April 12th Easter Egg Hunt For children ages 10 and under. Bring the children and their Easter baskets for an Easter egg hunt in the boat lot beginning at 2:00 pm. Volunteers needed to hide eggs. View Slide show of this years hunt
April 25th Wine Tasting - Sample a variety of wines available from Enoree River Vineyards, a local winery in Newberry, SC This is will be in accordance with SC alcohol and beverage regulations. Must be 21 yrs of age to taste (proof of age required) Come enjoy a seminar on wines. Cheese, crackers and non-alcoholic sparkling cider will be served for those wanting an alternative. 4pm View Slide Show of the very popular Wine Tasting Event
May 3rd Dedication of the Watts kiosk Completion of the research project of the Watts family plantation. History military service, ownership and family ties 1:00pm
May 10th Mother's Day Luncheon Live music by Ed. Grilled hot dogs and hamburgers will be served. Bring family and honored guests for lunch and dessert. 1:00 - 2:00pm Mother's Day Photos
May 23rd Memorial Day Weekend - Pancake Breakfast Bring your appetite and give mom a break in the kitchen. Breakfast fixings from 8:30am 9:30am
May 24th Sunday Church Services Restart Church services at the picnic pavilion every Sunday at 8:30am Coffeee, juice and light refreshments provided. Sponsored by Northside Baptist Church of Laurens SC
May 24th Karaoke Karaoke is back!. A great selection of modern and classic music to choose from. bring the whole family and join in the fun. 6:00 -10pm
June 6th Campground Yard Sale Fundraiser We'll take care of the advertising and put out signage for a campground yard sale. Bring your items to the pavilion and set up for business. Park your large items in the parking lot next to the propane cage. Please consider a $5 voluntary donation to the American Cancer Society per table.
June 21st Father's Day Luncheon Grilled hot dogs and hamburgers will be served. Bring the whole family and honored guests for lunch and desert. 1pm - 2pm
July 4th Popcorn Live Music By Ed And Fireworks enjoy popcorn under the stars with fireworks on the horizon. Come join us at the pavilion for the area's best fireworks display. Popcorn for everyone until the fireworks stop. Boaters are welcome to popcorn also. everybody's favorite, Ed will play your requests.
More about ED Coleman 
Ed began playing the guitar in high school and has evolved into an accomplished singer/songwriter. While in the military he played in venues all over the world, never missing a chance to jam in clubs from the Phillipines to Panama.
While living in Jacksonville, Ed performed a solo act and formed the trio “Standard Vices” which performed throughout Northeast Florida and originally recorded the single “Boca Grande.”
After moving to South Florida, Ed teamed with Frankie Gunn in the high-energy duo “The Acousti’cats.” This was to become the foundation for the GunnRunners Band. The GunnRunners have become one of SouthWest Florida’s hottest bands playing rock/blues favorites. In 2005, the band released it’s debut CD “License to Carry.” Ed wrote and produced several songs on the CD that are now enjoying radio airplay in Southwest Florida, France and Germany. September 19th Wine Tasting Repeat Did you miss the wine tasting or did you enjoy it so much you want a repeat experience?
Enoree River Vineyards & Wines will be leading us in a wine tasting/ wine education gathering. Cheese, crackers and sparkling cider will be served for those desiring an alternative.
October 3rd Covered Dish Dinner We will provide the meat, breads, utensils and paper/plastic wear. Please bring your favorite covered vegetable, casserole or dessert and share a community dinner. 5pm until....
October 24th Pumpkin Carving for children of all ages. Meet at the public pavilion and everyone carve a pumpkin. treats for everyone. 12:00 - 1:00 pm
